My OPT7 running board lights won’t turn on with the amber DRL or turn signals. There’s 4 wires.

    -Yellow/Red are the Turn signal/DRL
    -White/Black are the courtesy light/ground

I tapped into my front turn signal wire harness for both sides.

The courtesy white lights work. I tapped into the footwell courtesy lights for the white light and ground

I tried switching the Yellow and red wires and tapping differently into the turn signal harness and it still doesn’t work.

The ambers worked when I tested them before installing on my truck. Any suggestions? I’m stumped.

For anyone that’s having the same issue, I fixed it somewhat.

I had to wire the courtesy and ground wires on the running board to the cargo light wire and ground on the body. Now the DRL/Turn signal function works.

Only annoying thing is, I have to have my DRL/headlights on for the turn signals to work. If my DRL lights are off, my turn signals only blink once. Idk how to fix that
