    Remorse,

When I flew out to Illinois end of August beginning of Sept. I drove the truck I bought that had 27k miles on it bare bone back here to Mass. And when I say bare bone I mean bare bone. No passengers and the clothes on my back.

Nothing in the bed,not even sprayed or a bed liner. Full size spare.....obv

It wasn't until somewhere around Ohio that I realized my avg mpg was saying 19 & change. I kept cycling through the screen (which looks exactly like yours) because I thought I was looking at the wrong page or it was broken or something. So maybe it had to do something with the light load, but I don't know stock off the factory floor, that's legit highway mileage. I may have also taken a picture, I'll dig around.....I was in shock.....

Cool thread. Still have the original sticker on the T100. Kind of interesting. I think i paid $27k usd back in the day which was quite a bit of change at the time, especially for a truck that was neither a full size nor small size; more like an in-between size truck that was never a big seller for Toyota but solid for what i needed. Still drive it daily.

ha. must be the door map pockets advertised under comfort and convenience that put it over the top.

My 2008 Tundra that my Dad bought new in 9/2008. Check out the after rebate selling price of $20,559.

I found his note when going through the paperwork. 9/2008 was right after the housing market collapse (not many full sized trucks being sold for construction) and gas had gone above $5/gallon (at least in CA.) so the V8s were not in demand. $20,559 selling price with >$8,000 in rebates. What a difference from recent new trucks. Out the door for under $23,000.

That note is a gem, truly special, what an awesome personal touch to have with the truck from your Dad. Your passion and care for the truck really shines in the build thread, SUPER nice truck!
