    Hey all,

My 2017 Tundra with 75K miles started throwing P0441 EVAP System Incorrect Purge Flow read via this BlueDriver ODB2 scan tool.

I removed my gas cap, and reseated it until it clicked. I swear it wasn't fully seated when I pulled it off there, originally. Check Engine light came on a couple days ago. I've driven about 10 miles.

Just looking for general advice. If it's something dead simple with easy access to replace, I could probably fix. Or, I could just take it to the dealer.... who will hopefully not take ME to the cleaners... :)

    Thanks
Keith from Pittsburgh(to give you an idea of the climate....)

Purge flow valve driver side could be. I had this issue and replaced that and then the canister later. Ended up being a combo of things for me

Thanks @reywcms for your reply. I cleaned my gas cap, and the top of the "fill pipe" with WD40 yesterday. Gas cap rubber seal looks good. Where is that purge flow valve located? Is the engine cover easily enough removed? Is it on the driver side bolted to the engine?

Engine cover pulls off, purge valve is driver side by the fuel rail.

    Thanks for the details @reywcms.

I believe I've found the cause of my problems. I regularly find some animal nests in my engine compartment. The dealer said they found one a month ago, I cleaned one out a week ago, and last night, I found another one. I'm trying a few different repellents....

I popped the cover off, identified the valve solenoid, and low and behold, there's a section of chewed cable. Tough to get a perfectly in focus image, but I'm pretty sure this is the problem.

Someone in one of the posts (here or elsewhere) mentioned some of the various causes, and made a specific point to check cabling.... That the net effect of power not
