    P2119 code

Is this part of the engine failure/recall? Or a separate issue?

Does the new crate motor come with new throttle body or do they reuse the old one?

    Thanks yall

From what I can glean from searches the 35A replacement does not come with a new throttle body.

Here's what I found, and by you having 130K on the clock I'd say this may be accurate.

P2119 - Throttle Actuator Control Throttle
    Body Range/Performance

This means the Engine Control Module
(ECM) has detected that the throttle
actuator is not operating within the
    expected range. More specifically, it
suggests a problem with the electronic
    throttle control system=possibly the
throtle body, throtle position sensor, or the
    actuator motor

    Common Causes:

    • Carbon buildup in the throttle body

    s Faulty throttle body assembly

    • Faulty throttle position sensor

    • Wiring issues or poor electrical
    connections

    • Failed ECM (less common)

Rodents didn't put 130k on the truck...hopefully a good cleaning and reset will do the trick. Possible but not probable.

Only you can answer this, and I agreed with Jettster, the throttle assembly just needs a good dooshing.
