2432 code appears, the engine control module (ECM) has located an issue with the secondary air injection system's air flow or pressure sensor circuit.

Alright so what I’ve seen a lot lately is everyone I encounter with code p2432 either automatically go for air pumps or check valve depending on what bank the fault is on......

Check pumps first at plug with a power probe BEFORE you do anything if they fire you now start looking at the air valve, if valve is not stuck open or you DO not see rust or water stains indicating water intrusion your problem is most likely gonna be in the control driver.. you can command with the correct scanner if not check to see what kind of voltage you have coming out when the driver is supposed to be doing it’s job. I’ve seen so many dudes dump a gang of money into the air pump system dudes like me that didn’t make the cut off of 2011 for the air pump water intrusion fix and in the end it ends up being the control driver was not properly checked.

My tundra through that code at me recently ended up being the driver. The seal on the valve is crap tho so I’m replacing it also. Expensive shit

Everyone wants to burying ole sexy tundra balls deep in water. I live in Death Valley when it rains we get weird fat ass puddles. Seriously happy I got the 4.6 and not the 5.7 anyway here is a pic of my HoE cakes tundra.

Welcome from RI. Glad I have the 4.7, a million mile engine. When I see one of those 4.6 or 5.7 engines go 200k with out a problem, I might be a little impressed. Toyota must of hire some new dwebs for engineers. I can understand if you need the more horsepower, and of course there is no choice past 2010, them bastards. :ballchain:

I like the timing belt motor good motor, T belt and cam tower job pays good! The 4.6 ain’t so bad tho. I put 59k miles on my tundra in one year with no problems. Right now I have air pump issues but that’s basic crap poor design drama. 5.7 is pretty cool too, one thing that dose suck ? When your timing cover starts pissing oil at you. That repair is wild for a rookie and just a pain in the ass for a veteran another recall/warranty Job that is common unfortunately.

Are those plastic guides? I thought they used metal guides in the 4.6 and 5.7.

Glad to hear that as i just went through that with my 2000 5.4l. Had to drop oil pan too and pick out all the pieces from the oil pickup screen, PIA. Glad toyota is using metal guides.

So if sumone came in with a 08 tundra 4.7l what would be a ballpark dollar amount to straighten out the truck and what are your thoughts on doing the bypass instead.
