My 105K miles 2014 4.6L Tundra check engine/Trac control off came on. Limp mode officially activated :(
Plugged in the code reader and it gave me the P2440. I did research on the valves and even ordered the new one. However, I took the one apart and I didnt really find the clogged mess everyone seems to experience. Slight moisture was found inside. Does This mean I need the Bypass kit instead? I hear they are plug n play as well. Replies are hugely appreciated if you know any info. Im a college student so I really would love to save some money and fix it myself. Also, is it terrible for the car to be driving it now? I gotta get to werk somehow
    Thanks for reading.

I did the Hewitt Tech bypass, strictly on a preventative basis.

I've had no issues with the truck since the install, but I wasn't having any before the install either.

Technically, it is plug and play, but I couldn't believe how difficult the unplugging part was. It literally took me hours to do and I even managed to bruise my ribs crawling up and over top of the engine to get back to the plugs.
