This issue was finally fixed. The transmission shop had diagnosed that the torque converter had excessive slipping at the lower rpm ranges. They do have very sophisticated diagnostic equipment. The dealer first decided to R&R the TC. Hoping it was the cause of the slipping. It was certainly a worn component, but the lights and same code returned. The transmission shop ran all the tests again and determined that the values inside the valve body were changed, but there were still faults with internal pressures. It was the valve body that was worn out. They replaced the valve body along with all the solenoids. (FYI, the solenoid indicated by the code was checked first before any other work was done) Lights out! I hope this can help someone. The parts and labor for the valve body was $1600.00, covered by the dealership. Also, I found this during my research. It is very interesting. https://www.sonnax.com/tech_resourc...aults-in-a761-ab60-a960-6-speed-transmissions
