Ive seen trucks with the roof of the cab being painted black or line-x. I really love the look but i feel like this Texas heat is just gonna have a field day and make the truck way hotter inside the cab. What do you think?

Your probably right, that’s why I always go with white, cool to the touch in the Texas sun!

My buddy vinyl wrapped his white Benz’s roof black, you mean like that? Isn’t permanent. Can’t be hotter than a black truck.

Edit: ooh, Texas heat, maybe not

Yep, I would wrap it. It'll be cheaper not to mention it's easy reversible. Going to have my buddy do mine the next time I'm back up in NY.

I've had good luck with that stuff, if you know what you are doing, its way cheaper than a wrap. Plus if you screw up a little bit, nobody will notice cause its 7' in the air on the roof.

That look is kinda growing on me too thank you for posting this thread. I like the black out look. I just bought black fender flares for my truck, undecided if body color or black.? I like CheeHab's photo of his truck. Wished cali looked like that.
Good point, will it make the interior hotter? I have partial black out on my hood, might look good with my roof done.
