I was thinking of painting all my chrome black. Wanted to know if anyone has done it and if it lasts.. I have already painted the inner section of the grill. It was starting to chip anyways. ..
If anyone has any pics I would appreciate it

Powder Coat the bumper caps. I do have an extra set powder coated black. I might sell.

On my chrome caps, I used self etching primer and Rustoleum's bedliner spray. Its held up over 9000 miles of highway driving so far.

Your grill looks awesome. I’m looking to do the same with mine. What did you paint it with? How many coats? Primer too? How did it hold up? I’m planning to do mine this weekend, but haven’t got an idea where to start.
