Just trying to help, needs to contact dealer regardless. Why don't you help OP out and let him know what the issue is if you know it?

Why don’t you just tell him to contact the dealer instead of linking to the turbo discussion?

I had the issue and started a thread on it and the issue is slowly growing. Long story short, they replaced my radio and reprogrammed everything and now it’s not randomly doing it while driving. Now it only does it if I push and hold the power button to restart the radio when CarPlay is being stupid. Did your radio restart when the malfunction occurred?

Toyota is aware and they’re aware mine isn’t fixed completely. More of a bandaid until it can get the truck back to them. Check out the thread, search my name and malfunction and it should pop up

It seems to me that looking at all these problems, this truck may just be too dependent on software and they can't get everything perfect. its like electric and software gremlins, I sure hope they can code their way out of this

Me too, it’ll just take time. One of the issues is Apple and Toyota are working together to figure out the CarPlay issues. Which is tied to my safety malfunctions. One of the head guys with corporate, who actually goes to Japan headquarters, came and helped with my truck because they were so stumped and surprised with the issue. The dealership from the start threw up the white flag, which I respected honesty. We’ll see, hopefully I’ll have it back in the dealer soon

I’m having multiple issues with my Toyota tundra 2022 from the day I bought it. I just got the Parking Support Break Malfunction and I just got back my vehicle from the dealer image.jpg

Yup, Toyota is aware but there aren’t any fixes for it as of now. I constantly have connection issues with CarPlay. When I power cycle the radio to get it fixed, I’ll get a parking malfunction and most of the time LTA. I turn LTA completely off and back on with no issues.
Supposedly, it’s the device that’s used between Apple and Toyota to make the wireless CarPlay work. They diverted the issue to them, but like I said no fixes right now

Interesting, but how come we all aren't getting this error message, then?

I wish I could answer that. I figured the first batch of trucks was going to have the same issues. My truck was built 11/2021 and supposedly I was the first with the issue.

OK, mine was built 11/22 so after a year maybe there had been some changes. But I have had occasional CP issues, like a blank Google map, and of course, the system not muting for calls properly. But I've never had the parking support error message.

Mine has sane issue took it in. I get it intermittently when driving parking break or break malfunction support failure visit dealer. I
I did find a way to recreat it on account of radio going blank while at a red light. I held power button off and when powering back on I got it intermittently it would say the error parking break support malfunction visit dealer. Toyots corporate answer dont turn off radio so the computer will not have any issues and cause more problems and do more harm lol. Donn't turn it off they said that was there fix had my truck for 2 weeks done diags charged me just to come up with that solution. This been going on for over a year I got a lemon law lawyer took it in 5 times for this issue couldn't repeat or duplicate it then I did find a trigger of what might be causing it and they tell me don't turn off radio. Ohhhhhh a new tundra off the truck 23 does same thing when radio power button is held to turn off buzzing then it says break support malfunction visit dealer.

Just got hit in the rear by a 9000lb SUV taxi and this popped up. Should I be worried?
