Does anybody know the part number for this door latch bolt? Lost it in the process when I was replacing it.

I used the sticky thread that gives you all the instructions for looking up your own parts.

I plugged in in a random 2006 Seqoiua Limited VIN number at the EPC DATA site it tells you to use.

I went to the Body & Interior section.

I clicked on Front Door Lock & Handle to see associated lock/handle assembly parts.

It gave me this picture. I believe that's your bolt right there, ending in -A0005. A quick Google search tells me my guess is correct.

I'll give anyone a free lunch once or twice. But seriously, bookmark that site, and or use the instructions provided in the sticky thread to look stuff up on your own.

I haven't used the site much but I finally have a picture of my door tag but for whatever reason it won't show I have an SR5 and only let's me select the V6. Is there a way to change it or do you just work around it?

Whatever it parses from your VIN is what it parses from your VIN. Different numbers inside the VIN correlate to different things, I suspect if you have a specific digit at, for example, position 13, if it's one value you're V8, if it's another value you're V6. (Engine variable isn't actually the 13th digit, I just like the number 13)

But if you need to manually select....

Go to your door jamb sticker, which will either be on the latch side (on the door), or on the jamb side (B-pillar) and grab this value for your chassis info (more instructions after the image):

    upload_2024-8-16_8-55-36.png

    Then start here: https://toyota-usa.epc-data.com/tundra/
    • Skip the Search box, and look at the links under the Search box for the various chassis types
    • Whatever the value us before the dash (in my case "UCK40L"), pick that in the "Choose your frame name" area below Search
    • A page (see below) will show up to "Choose your complectation", find the entire 12-digit hyphenated chassis that matches yours, my example below
    • See other bullet point note below this next image

    • It will kick you to the next page for catalog lookup; look at the Characteristics box - does it match your truck, where "Grade" is your package, "Engine" is your engine?

I hadn't tried my VIN only the frame number from my door tag. Didn't realize VIN was an option as it just says frame number but I guess it's either. Tried my VIN and still shows V6 though, odd.

That's definitely weird. If you plug your VIN into the search box as is shown in the sticky, it will auto-fetch your info.

You may want to shoot something over to Toyota of America and ask them "wtf?", maybe it's a glitch on their end.

Edit: Well update here for anyone that finds it I had a picture of a VIN tag from another truck saved on my phone and stupidly mistaked it for my truck after I made it make sense in my head that my tag could be different. My apologies
