Passenger door won’t open from inside

Tried looking a bit around the forum and online but couldn’t find the same problem for my year. I have 2020 trd sport and outta no where my wife couldn’t get out of the truck from the front passenger side unless I opened it from the outside. Almost is acting like there a child lock on but there is not. Has anyone had this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

YouTube taking the interior door panel off. Check the cable attachment. It's very simple and should take you less than 20 min. I'd start with that and go from there. Cable probably disconnected is my guess.
