Anyone have a fix for the front passenger door panel rattle. At first I thought it was blown speaker but its the door panel.

They plastic welded a part of the inside door panel. It made a big difference

I have the same issue with mine. The dealer is going to pull the panels this coming Monday and source the rattle. Ill report back their findings. I hunch its something with the window control arm.

Have the same issue. I also thought it was a blown speaker originally but then I had it happen even with some road vibration with radio off. Hope someone figures out what is causing this, not not confident my dealer would figure it out on the first/second/third try.

I've got the same thing going on. I haven't been able to pin point, need to spend some time riding in passenger seat and listen good. Mine has at times sounded like it's coming from the dash, but most noticeable from passenger door.

I have the exact same problem. I took it to the dealership today I put on a song with high bass nothing out of the ordinary. The Driver door rattles and it starts to make noise. The high bass sound is not clear. The dealership was able to note the problem, they then took me to another tundra 2022 model with the same JBL Soundsystem and play the same song and the same problem was reproduced. Their only advice was that they could not do anything about it because the same problem showed in another vehicle with the same specifications in other words it’s a Toyota tundra problem with the JBL Soundsystem. I’m either gonna have to live with it or maybe we can get together and send something to Toyota so they can correct the problem. Aug 2022

Don’t remember the thread or who but someone here put auto soundproofing in his doors and said it made a world of difference. That may be the “fix” you have to do

They did the same thing with me with the bumps on the fender flares. Apparently a lack of quality is “normal”.

I called Toyota brand engagement and explained the problem. Apparently the dealership said it’s a possible recall issue but Toyota has not formally formulated a solution. Please call 1-800-331-4331 prompt 7 then 3 to report the problem. They answer pretty quickly.

this sounds like one of those things that I wouldnt even waste time going to the dealer for. I havent noticed mine ever doing it but I can barely hear as it is. lol too many years of shooting and being around other loud stuff.

I will try to reproduce it in mine and if need be take the door panel off and find a fix. If not, maybe someone else can and post it. It is bound to be something simple. My Ram rattled at every door and corner and cupholder and I had to put shims in things, rubber bands under other things, and hot glue and superglue others. Dealers will always give you the runaround. We will probably have to figure this one out ourselves.

Similarly - opened the rear side windows halfway while driving yesterday and was scared to keep them open at highway speeds they were rattling around so much. Can’t see that lasting

I have an annoying slight rattle/ buzz when I have the drivers side window down and I am playing loud music. Once I roll the window up.... gone. I was thinking of getting some dynomat or other sound proofing stuff to stick under the door panel.

I hear it too. I thought it was something in the door panel and it very well could be, but my wife and kids think it’s coming from the top window frame area. The rubber window molding seems like it makes a frictioney rubbing sound when I push on it but I can’t tell and I’m sure the dealer won’t either. Any solid suggestions or solutions would be great

Hey there just an update. My noise was definitely coming from the passenger window molding, where the molding meets the metal. On a bumpy road is was making all sorts of noise and when I was driving I pushed on it with a piece of wood I had in my truck and it stopped. Anyways I just got an oil change and physically showed the tech. He did say there was a lot of play in there. He put a sticky type of puddy on the inside to hold it in place and so far so good. Hopefully that is the fix

Can someone post the spot exactly. Mine seems to be mid door like a buzz more than a rattle if you will. Like a clip buzzing at bass frequencies emulating a busted speaker noise.

I never notice it without the radio on.
