Got it on a Black Friday deal, if you’re questioning it get it now. It’s like perfectly being in the power band all the time. Great product.

It doesn't improve them. It's designed to remove throttle delay.

Nope, more fun though. MPG is all dependent on how you drive it. It’s not a tune, just interrupts the throttle position sensor to make pedal more sensitive. If you unplug it from obd2 it goes back to stock.

Does the safe reverse feature work? I have a 2021. I’ve heard cases where it doesn’t work on some model years.

Pedal Monster doesn't offer an MPG (muted throttle curve) mode. The throttle controllers that do offer the mode give marginal gains if any at all. I've had a Pedal Commander and two models of Hike It and none demonstrate any improvements in MPGs on my set up with my driving behavior and environment.

You can emulate a throttle controller by mashing the pedal with a heavier or lighter touch so I don't think it is worth purchasing one if that is all you are after. Where I think the throttle controller comes in handy is if you want a valet or lock out mode.

If you are really concerned with MPGs check Ecomodders. The site goes into a deep dive on hypermiling and also ranks mods by MPG improvements. To save you time the best and reasonable mods for a truck is an air damn and smoothing out the bottom of the truck to reduce turbulant air. Common mods like lifts and larger tires will hurt MPGs.
