Was looking at getting a Pelican Cargo Case BX255 for my '24 Tundra Limited and also wanted to get the Cross Bed Mount (XBEDMT2) for it. The problem is I have a Retrax PRO cover and didn't know if the Cross Bed Mount brackets would get in the way of the cover when it slides.

Anyone have (or tried) this setup? Does it work?

    TIA

I am not familiar with that setup, but I have a retrax pro. If the brackets are in the channel and do not touch the actual bed cover, it will operate as intended. Personally, if I remove my rack I will be going with the Rhino rack bed rails over the cover for things like a case and my fishing poles.

Just so anyone knows who might be looking at this combo - it doesn't work. I've rigged it so the case fits in the bed and doesn't (really) slide but it won't work with the Pelican cross bed mount hardware and Retrax Pro.

Can you post up some pictures? I don't know about the mount specific you are looking at.

This is similar to one I will be considering in place of my rack. It will hold a case and the rod holders.

    Too many mods to come
I've been eyeing this same pelican case.

I’ve got a bx255 too. Love it. But I have a cap, so no clearance issues.
