    Hey All,

I have a 2024 Platinum with the JBL stereo, and we are on a road trip. My iPhone is using CarPlay, and when an incoming call comes in, the ringer volume is crazy loud. In the levels settings when using Carplay, the ringer volume is greyed out and can't be changed.

You can change the ringer volume in regular Bluetooth phone settings, but it affects the level only when using the Bluetooth side.

I'm just checking to see if I am missing anything. I have done a few searches on the forum and dug into the manual, but I'm either not searching for the correct term or something.

    Thank you

I think you can adjust it while it's ringing, use the steering wheel volume during the ringing and it will stay set. Same with the audible directions on maps.

I'm pretty sure you can adjust it in your center screen. It's either under the phone tab, or general settings & sound.

I have tried that and it is greyed out under CarPlay and can be adjusted in the Bluetooth phone settings. However that does nothing for the volume while using CarPlay.

Ok so for an update I grabbed my wife’s phone and went out to experiment. The first suggestion about adjusting the volume as the phone was ringing was the ticket. I dialed it down and now hopefully won’t be heart stopping each time it rings. Thanks for the help!
