Really depends on which ones you are talking about. I mean the V6 base model had no bodyside molding. If that is what you are looking for.

I Haven't seen a double cab without the door mouldings and whatnot, but I have seen what's under the fender flares. There are a bunch of big square holes spread over the edges of the fenders that look ugly.

Here's a photo I snagged from a facebook group where someone removed their flares.

I really need to put mine back on, just haven’t done it yet. Ive also kicked around the idea of having a body shop weld mine up and then have the monstaliner touched up :anonymous:

Worth the effort of filling if you're painting anyway IMO

Your going to have holes that need filled unless it’s a reg cab like mine… which never came with side moldings

A bit off-topic, but I absolutely love this truck. The color, the cap, everything about it just fits.

    Thanks!
it is one of my greatest achievements. the only one that will top it is the 01 tacoma most likely. depending on how much rust i find on the 93 mr2, maybe it too.

I do like the look of no flares. But, I'm chasing enough squirrels at the moment.

Dan, you like the black mirrors? I assume manual? They work well on the truck but curious if you contemplated heated power there and maybe color matched cement caps?

OP, I got these but haven't press-fit them yet. Not sure how much I'll like the look. I don't love my chromey ones but not thinking of a re-paint so I'm a tad limited on choices unless I drop big $ for OEM.

they're powered, heated mirrors. was plug and play for my truck with the proper door harness. the black caps came off my old manual mirrors. these are junkyard specials. eventually i plan on getting new ones that dont vibrate and i'll be probably having the caps painted cement.

And the button for mirror heat, junkyard pull solves that? Even the SR harness has the relay and wires? Or have to source a relay too? I definitely don't have a button but then again I do not have much need for mirror heat where I am.

Do the caps just pop off with a pry tool? I need to find me some black or white. So I could potentially scrounge caps off manual mirrors then? That's rather good news.

Sorry for the OT stuff OP.

Pop off from the back, need to remove the glass.

mine was wired, plugs were all present. Double check yours since it’s an older one.!
