There's an install thread for replacing the 26 with the 38, posted by PapaSmurf. Search using the little magnifying glass near the upper right hand side of your screen.

From what I’ve gathered so far regarding the swap.
A few minor details needed to be considered.

Which minor details are you referring to please. I'm interested in the same upgrade. My truck is a 17 SR5. When I decided to go with the front bench seat I was not able to get the 38 gallon thank. So I'm assuming that the frame already has predrilled holes to install the middle support bracket.

It’s the front strap that you need to add for the 38 gallons
Plus the support that hold the strap
You either drill in your frame and use bolts or weld.

Even on 17 model? My SR5 was modified at the manifacture plant for front bench installation. So I'm assuming the predrilled wholes are there. Where do I check to be sure?

What I meant is that SR5 trim level comes with a 38 gallon fuel tank. Mine is a 17 SR5 which should had a 38 gallon fuel tank. When I decided to have a front bench seat the 38 gallon thank didn't come with it even tough is an SR5
