So I just ordered from crutchfield
The pioneer plus all the harness & stuff (no maestro) but steering wheel controls. It came to $550 did I make a mistake and should have got the Dasiata ?

All I want is Apple CarPlay and backup camera and Bluetooth.

I’m not an audiophile I listen to talk radio or sports radio.

I’m just wondering if I should cancel my order?

IMO you made the right choice
I've never had good luck with any of those off brand units. I've tried a few.

Pioneer and Alpine have always been good to me I'm all the vehicles I've had them in

You bought reliability over flashiness. For what you want out of the HU...stick with the Pioneer.

For what you wants, definitely stick with the known brand. The android unit are glitchy when it come to carplay and android auto. Laggy.

Tonneau tri-fold cover. Front step skid plate. Pioneer DMH-2660NEX head unit. Rear speakers: 6.5 incrimanator 2 way. Front: 6x9 Memphis audio OEM plug n play component.
Just recently purchased that same head unit with the i data link adapter. Has every bells and whistle I needed. Can go wrong for the best bang for the bucks.

Does the backup camera and all the steering wheel controls with with this? Do you have to purchase the iDatalink module? And to be clear, this is not a true navigation system, correct? You just use google maps?

I used the Masetro idatalink to keep the steering wheel controls. Plus I gain a few extra features using the idatalink like viewing gauges, tire pressures, engine diagnostic code when they appear. The DMH-2660NEX does not have Navigation. That why I wanted CarPlay. All I have to do is plug my phone via usb and use my apps. And I can still used my rear view camera. So far I like it. Cost $345 from a company online that starts with a C. The harness connections and idatalink bundle was around $219. Paid additional $25 and had them splice and wired everywhere for me. Well worth it.

Does this HU sit flush or is it one of the floating styles? Thanks!

Ok I guess this comes in multiple sizes then. I was just looking it up and one of the sites lists it at 6.8 inches.
