Just ordered a set of Scorpion AT+ in 275/60r20 to make my truck a little more winter worthy. They are on sale for $201 on Amazon and Walmart currently.
Anyone with experience running these? They seem like a great value… especially to get the 3PMSF rating on an AT tire.

Can't speak for the new ones, but that's all I used to run back in the day. Not the most aggressive pattern off road but Excellent road manners. Not a tire seen very often. My favorite thing was the scorpion on the side wall and then boasting that I had Pirellis on my S10 ZR2...lol.

Pirelli makes good stuff. Ive not run their AT, truck or suv tires but ive run them on performance imports and motorcycles and they were always great.

I don't run Pirelli's on my truck but I am happy with their performance on my other vehicles. The only complaint I've read about these on a truck is the softer compound wears quickly if you do a lot of towing and hauling.

We have them on our 2020 Rav4, bought them for AT and because they are winter snowflake rated.

    No issues.

I put a set of 275/60/20 Pirelli Scorpion ATs on my 22 Limited 4x4. I have about 500 miles on them. They were the only standard load AT tire I could find. Bought then at Discount tire. Very happy with price, appearance and performance. Steering response is the same as factory tires. Up to 40 mph I don’t hear any tire noise. Above 40 there is a slight noise increase that stays the same all the way up to interstate speeds. They are rated about 200 lbs higher load than factory tires. The ride is a little firmer but not harsh at all. Still very smooth on highway and most roads. The only place I notice is where the road crews have patched pot holes with cold patch. The OEM tires absorbed these bumps better. I switched to black TRD Off road wheels when I put them on and the wheel tire combo really changed the appearance of my truck. They have a lot wider foot print than the OEM. Great in the rain. We haven’t had our first snow yet. My gas mileage stayed the same around town. Ill post photos when I return from a trip we are on. Highly recommend.

Thanks all. This is helpful and sounds like I made a good decision. Will be happy to have a 3PMSF tire for the winter that also has good dry road characteristics.

How have they been with rocks/pebbles? Do they like to catch or do they fling well? It's the thing I hate about the OEMs but as I keep driving in snowy roads, I'm noticing I probably won't last all of winter with them.

Alright, I got the tires installed and they are awesome so far. Now I’m looking forward to the next snow!

The only place I have been on gravel so far is a handful of stone parking lots and a short stone access road. They cleaned out quickly but not sure that is a good test.

Do you have any lift? Rubbing? Any reason you didn’t get 275 / 65/ 20?

I do not have any lift at the moment and absolutely no rubbing. I got what I thought to be a great deal in the 270/65s so didn’t go bigger. I have been extremely happy with them. Snow performance is excellent and the ride quietly.

Just to confirm- are they 270/65 or 275/60?

I went with 275/60/20 primarily because they were much cheaper and available the next day. 275/65/20 were $175 more per tire when I purchased mine. Just completed my first rotation with 3000 miles on them. Still running true, quiet and smooth. Great steering response that is light and predicable. Maybe a touch more noise at highway speeds but it is not the typical AT tire noise or drone. Id call it a high pitched tread whir if that is a word. ;)

Update on the tires? Looking at these myself. Same with the sport and no lift. They look great.
