So Im running a 2006 4.7 V8 automatic Double cab 4WD, and today the plastic broke at the top of the radiator where the large hose connects, now my dad recommended I go for an all aluminum radiator, I'm not super worried about the price I'm more concerned about getting one that's gonna last a long damn time in in extreme heat.

I was wondering if anyone know of any good ones, I was looking at this:
    https://www.mishimoto.com/toyota-tundra-performance-aluminum-radiator-2000-2006-v2.html
While I was reading the specs it says it "Fits 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra 4.7L w/Automatic Transmission (w/out Double Cab)"
As previously stated I have a DC so I'm not sure if there's something special I can look out for to help in my search, any and all help is appreciated.

Edit: Thanks for everyone's help I went with the CSF radiator, install was quick and easy and it looks great

DC radiators are slightly larger than AC and RC, so is the fan shroud.

I personally went with the CSF 7030 and I've been pleased.

The OEM design with plastic ends lasted 16 years... that's a pretty good run. Personally, I'd go with a Denso from Rock Auto -- in fact, I did.

Very good radiators. Clean even weld beads and sturdy. They always answered their phones when I called to help me with questions/concerns. They readily backed their work up w/o giving me a hard time for repair, even though the issue was my fault. They gave me a break and said warranty covered charges. :)

I purchased from this guy, he had the lowest price and gets it to you fast.

It's funny how topics come up and repeat in the same day. I was texting a buddy about rads today. But if the Ridgeline crew likes these, I'll probably use it when I'm ready.

That's nice, who are the Ridgeline crew folks? Do they test products and/or sell them at a competitive price? Or a club that ride the mountain trails together?

Is that a coined word you use for anyone that owns DC trks? Like seeing one on the road and saying there's a ridgeliner?

That was the short answer, the long answer is it has been a running joke between the AC and DC guys. Which truck is better, etc. At one point, AC guy called the DC a Ridgeline, which stems from another running joke. DC guys embraced the name ever since. So yes, vague...but accurate

My 2001 is still on the original radiator, I would just go with the OEM if I ever need a new one. It seems that the OEM's are up to the task.

"...but accurate," is good to. Especially when inside jokes can't be wrong.

No concerns about an ATF cooler failure resulting in a pink milkshake?

    FTFY :D

Seriously though, I wonder if/where date codes typically are on these. If so, it'd be nice to know where. I'm not super concerned about mine (yet), but I'd also love to have the peace of mind of knowing whether a PO replaced it. I suspect they did, based on the condition and color of the top plastics.

The only concerns I have these days are how's the weather going to be for a motorcycle ride to the beach, and if my IPA will be at the perfect temperature when I get home. I've learned to pick my battles now, with work and women.
