I'm trying to sort what is standard with the platinum trim level.
Does it come standard with front, side and rear cameras? Does it have blind spot warnings in the mirrors or is that only on the technology package? I don't speak Toyota well yet. Thanks.

Yes, It comes standard with the Toyota safety features as well as all around cameras. Here is a window sticker for a Platinum. Do a search for Dealers in or around your area and pull up what they have, if they have a Platinum, open it and it will give the list of all standard equipment or you can go to the Toyota build site and do a comparison. The Platinum is really nicely equipped and this level your get leather seats, with heating / cooling in the front and the rear as well. The Plat. does not offer an Off Road package from factory

Thanks. The comparison on the website was helpful and the platinum is really well equipped. Are they "decontenting" trucks now? Meaning, you order a platinum but it come with features like camera left off due to supply issues? I know you only get one key right now but is there other stuff missing from the packages? Thanks.

Only thing Toyotas have less when you buy is 1 less key you gotta wait on. Other than that you have all features unlike other companies IE Ford removing heated steering wheel and stuff.

Toyota is doing it right and all features will work minus the 1 key.

    Thanks.
I'm going through a buyback on an F150 and it's just mind numbing how Ford has lost the trail. On the higher trims, many of things that make it a higher trim don't show up on the truck and are discounted at a small amount on the sticker. This is going to be a mess for people that buy them now and later when they think they are getting a feature set that isn't there.
Because of my Ford experience I'm just asking more questions than usual on this go around.

I don't think any Tundra is sent out missing features, with the exception of the FOB as YOTA pointed out. Recently there was a recall on the OEM bed covers and those were taken off by the dealership or factory/Port. If it's a standard feature and/or options listed on the build sheet or window sticker it's on there.

Not always...funny thing for whatever reason my Platinum sticker said it included the black lettering in the tailgate Tundra stamping. I noticed it on first look at the truck, it wasn't something I would have requested but the sticker said it was included. Discussed it with the dealership and we both thought maybe they were in the unopened box with the all-weather mats. When I went to pick it up, sure enough it didn't have the lettering inserts. Again, didn't really care but I "paid" for them so the dealer had to order them and install when they came in. Clearly just a skew up at the factory, so check closely. :D

They change the literature from auto dimming mirrors to auto dimming mirror? That was a bummer the passenger side didn’t dim. Hell my 50k pilot dims on all sides

This image (Canadian pricing) helped me with my decision...although now that I look at it again, I didn't get the HUD, but no biggie for me

I wonder if we can add the HUD? Didn't get it either but it would be cool to have.

Beats Ford XLT for over 60k!
And those nasty fitments from Ford, so nice to see good body lines on the Toyota again!

I think after 3 months of using the HUD, I would miss it if it were to die...

hud is great if you dont wear polarize glasses/sunglasses.

otherwise its pretty much a waste of money. i wear prescription glasses with bronze polarized magnetic clip ons during sun up all the time. ive pretty much ignore the hud since 90% of my wheel time is during sun up conditions.

This is True, unlike you though, I have the flexibility to purchase non-polarized that work well.

The ‘23 Limited TRD OR I took delivery of yesterday shows the PVM+BSM package on the window sticker but the truck does not have a digital rear view mirror display. (built 5/28/23) It has all 6 cameras and all the views on its 14” mon. Dealer told me they dont ship with those mirrors anymore?? I thought the digit rear view mirror was the PVM? He said no, that’s the 360° panoramic view provided by all the cameras on the 14” display. Is that right?

Yep, digital rear view mirror is/was an option separate from PVM. Other Toyotas have a digital rear view mirror as an option too.

I thought my 1794 didn't have the digital mirror and was unhappy until the salesman reached under the rear view mirror and "flip" turned it on. It's the flip control to trigger day/night view in regular mirrors, looks the same but is digital mirror on/off.

Maybe you have digital and it's just turned off? Worth a shot.

    EDIT: Here's my mirror...

Nope. That knob and the settings menu is not there. Appears to me that mirror is standard on Platinum and above.
Thanks, I see that now in the Owners manual. PVM (Panoramic View MONITOR) is only related to the 360° panoramic view afforded by all 6 cameras. The mirror is a seperate item. Now to figure out if it can be easily added after the fact (plug n play) I have to believe the harness for it is up there.

I know the digital rear view mirror is part of the trailer straight path assist package and I believe it's standard on Platinum and above...
