Platinum Wheel Center Caps

Hey everyone,

Looking to buy a WCP Platinum, but a huge fan of the TRD OR wheels that come on the limited. The wheels on the Plat look good, but have the classic toyota logo. Does anyone know if you can remove the center cap and replace with a TRD center cap? Thanks

 

Looking for the same answer. I have sent pics but guess need required size. I'm also looking for silver or just another option for centercap.

It's a black circle with red TRD logo that fits on the other 3rd gen models, but obviously some input from someone with experience may be nice. I may try to pull the trigger on this and report back when I get the truck.

 

I can confirm that the TRD centre cap P/N PT280-34221-2F fits the platinum wheels

Not sure if the fitment is the same for the one you've listed, but I agree that the chrome stock platinum cap had to go

Edit -- Was installing a breeze? Just pry tool to take old one off and pop new on back on? Or do you need to take the wheel off?

 

Yes this works, the platinum cap also fits in other wheels like the TRD or vice versa.
Use a simple trim tool to pry or suction to pull it off and snap on.

 

Now for the black lugs? Any suggestions where to get?

 

Just gave my TRD caps away with my off-road wheels or I’d offer to ship them to you. Definitely changes the look of the wheels for the better

 

Trim tool works like mentioned and they pop in with that satisfying click only OEM gear can provide!

Hello all~
New to the Tundra family as I recently got a 24 Platinum! I absolutely love it, and I just received these TRD center wheel caps to replace my platty ones....I stopped an bought a 5 pack of Trim Tools but have not been able to budge even one of the existing caps. Could someone let me know which tool they used for this? Or should I go and buy a dent remover suction cup and try that?
