    Hi everyone,
I had a problem with my alternator, and when putting it all back together, I broke an electrical connector off of my power steering pump. I circled the connector in Red in this photo I pulled from RockAuto.com. Well, it looks like this part may actually be removable from the Pump, but what do I call it? Anyone have any experience with this? I flipped the photo from RockAuto, so it looks like you are looking down on the pump from above.

It would be great to be able to replace just this part of the pump, because it can be easily accessed from the right front wheel well.
Here it is broken off on my pump, if that helps identify it.

Thank you very much, for the help out.

It doesn’t seem to be available separately from the pump.

My bad, copied the wrong part number. This one does fit the Sequoia.

Still a no. Pressure sensor circled in blue. He needs the variable pressure solenoid, which I can’t find a part number for.

The blue one marked is this part number 44410-0C131. This one goes on the high-pressure line.

Yes. That’s what I need. I could tell that it wasn’t the pressure sensor, but cannot find a description that tells what it’s called. I am a step closer now. Thank you! I will keep searching.

Looks like it is not available separately from the pump. The pump is relatively inexpensive at $251 with a heavy online discount. 44310-0C110

I located a pump at a nearby junkyard. I plan to remove the pressure regulator from the junked pump and install it on my Sequoia. I will post an update when I have completed the attempt.

Now I have another issue. I put a new belt on, as part of the fix. And I get a bad squeal when I startup and a loud knock when it's running.

I can see the belt tensioner jump with every knock. So something is putting extra pressure on the tensioner and making the noise. You can see the tensioner jumping in the video I linked below.

I took off the belt and hand turned everything, everything turns easily except the crank. No wobble detected. Anyone have experience with this?

I'm going to repost as a new article to try to grab a few more eyes on the issue.

Here is a link to the video, it won't embed for some reason.

Thanks for helping out guys! I replaced the tensioner, and it stopped making the horrible noise.

On the junkyard power steering pump, I pulled off the pressure regulator and installed it on my existing p/s pump and it is all working correctly. Thanks so much for the assistance!
