Hi, I purchased a set of bars off of a 2018 tundra double cab, and it did not come with any hardware just the predator step bars. I have a 2016 double cab, and I noticed that where the bars go there are currently some bolts except for one in the front on both sides. After doing research on installing them I find myself confused. I need to know where to get the bolts needed and if anyone knows what size or part number that they are or if someone has a set that I can buy from them, thank you for your help.

Your truck should have the bolts already there just remove them and install the boards using same bolts

Roman was who I asked first and he was unable to help. Said to try Southeast Toyota.

When I look at the install on the 2016 bars it says to remove the factory bolts and discard and that the bars come w new bolts and washers.

Plus I will still be missing the from inside one on both sides.

Take a bolt with one to a local Ace hardware to match it

Take a bolt and take to nearest hardware store and match it up with a longer one

Yep, those are a SET or GST accessory. I'm not in either of those regions.

I’m about to go to the local dealership and see what they say. The only downside is the guy who works parts doesn’t give you parts numbers and really doesn’t want to ever help. Overall he is a jerk. The only thing about going to a hardware store is knowing how long it needs to be. Also don’t the bolts have some sort of thread lock on them?

    Update:
First I want to thank everyone for all your help. I went to to local Toyota dealership and the parts guy did help somewhat. He found the part number to something but said it was discountunied but when I looked it up, I was lead to some install directions on mounting the 3 step predator bars and in its list of parts included w the bars it said that I needed : (16) 8mmx25mm that’s for the 2012-up and the 2017-up (bars I have) say basically the same just 8mmx30mm. So I found a place that has them but I have to buy 50, but I guess that’s ok. I now wonder if I should get 30mm so it would be more secure??? Either way here’s a screenshot of the info I found and while I wish I could get the correct ones w the loctite sprayed on them I guess they will stay put. Let hope!7201394B-6F61-4F98-847B-7CC4AB7F9592.jpg

Check Fastenal or Ace Hardware they usually have individual pieces for sale.

Called Fastenal today and the guy said he had some and I would have to buy 50 of them. So that’s my plan.

Does anyone think I should use Loctite on the bolts or are they good w the lock washers?

I think you can buy nuts with a nylon insert that is a lock. pretty much at any home depot, lowes, or ace hardware, or farm supply store. Alot easier to remove nut, than lock tighting them.
just need to figure out what the metric bolt size is to get the correct nyloc nuts.Screen Shot 2018-07-03 at 8.32.03 AM.jpg

How much are you paying for 50? when you don't need 50, no Ace Hardware close by to match? And you need flat washers n lock washers if you want loctite you can use blue or red which is the strongest

I needed hardware for my steps as well and just went to Ace and got stainless steel bolts with washers. They don't have to be the exact bolts, just same size.

M8 x 1.25 is the stock bolt size. 25mm is the overall length.

I went today and purchased packs of 25 (smallest they had) of Stainless M8 25mm , Flat washers, and Lock washers. Pending weather I hope to have them installed tomorrow. Thanks for the help!

    Final Update:

The bars are on and look good. I had to kinda wing it on some things but I used a combo of the 2007-2012 / 2017-up install instructions to put on and torque settings. I will say that I believe the bars I have for the 2018 are slightly different than the 2016 truck. Everything lined up except the front bracket sat about 1/2 inch off the body. As I slowly tightened the bolts in the correct order I was able to get it flush though. Maybe they are all that way. Either way thanks to everyone who helped me and here are the final pics installed. Sorry for the dirty truck. It won’t stop raining in Alabama. 9A4502BE-197E-4B64-9D40-3F81A5925840.jpg8FE16C78-9968-42E2-8123-CFF90801C70B.jpg
