I installed the ProHolder phone mount and it bounces with vibrations. Do any of you that have it have a rock solid install without bounces?

It bounced enough on my way home that I took it off. WTF. It drove me nuts.

Not surprised. I have yet to see any phone holder that will do its job correctly without any concern. The cupholder is more than perfect for me :)

I'm experiencing the same exact thing. Video should it being rock solid but that's not the case in my truck. The only issue I can see on mine is the top of clip on the upper right side that's suppose to snap into place behind the radio won't fully seat back there. I've pried the space open and pushed the clip in as hard as I could and nothing. With that one not snapping in the top falls forward on heavy bumps. Hopefully I described it well, if not I'll take photos when I get my truck back.

Yeah there isn't much to the tabs that are supposed to hold it tight. I think it bounces from the arm. Even if I hold the mount against the radio trim, the phone still vibrates. I could probably find a way to mount the main holder to the dash but then it wouldn't be adjustable or at a good angle.

That's weird, my arm is rock solid, I've actually forgotten to press the button to release it and the whole thing comes off my dash but the arm doesn't move at all.

I just installed the proclip (different from the pro holder), used a wireless charger mount from Amazon and bought an adapter plate. No issues with it bouncing around with an iPhone 12.

I'm either going to fill the ball area with clear JB Weld adhesive and see if it makes a difference at all (probably won't) or send the POS back. It even bounces when I'm idling at a stop.

Send it back and say it came with all this gunk coming out of the ball joint, looks like adhesive but definitely did not help with the bouncing.

I'm half tempted to smash it with a hammer and send it back in pieces. It was already missing the cable clips and instructions.

Weird, I guess your next step would be looking into RAM mounts, I've heard they are strong as hell.

Get a ProClip and all your troubles will be over.
Rock solid, puts the phone in the ideal spot (IMO) and makes great videos out the front window.

True. I guess it just depends on whether the priority is a solid phone mount or wireless charging.

You have an aftermarket HU, doesn't it have wireless carplay or android whatever?
Not sure what phone you have.

I used a Proclip for a few years, it was awesome.
    But I hated the cord..

But after getting a HU with wireless Carplay, I had no need for a dash phone mount.
Phone and wallet sit on the console charger now.

Mine is the upgraded version but it has quite a bit of bounce for some reason. Im about to send it back unless someone has any ideas.

I'm going to try it one more time on the way home but I'm not confident with it. I tightened the swivel as much as I could.

So I tried it on the way home...still shook. I cut the ball off of the mount and used JB Weld clear adhesive and glued the main holder to the dash mount. If it works ill be happy. If not, in the trash it goes.
