I've found a 200w led bar from nilight...installing pretty straightforward for tundra hood scoop. Couple videos on YouTube though, cutting is needed. I'm going to get a better wiring harness for it, but I've reas from a few reviews that they got condensation inside the light. Others were fine. Is there anything I can do to help seal it up at all?asprayor something? ..looking for some advice.

Spends a little more and get a better light that does not have sealing issues.

Only other suggestion is to use some adhesive sealant on the light and cover any areas/seams where water may get in.

I have that exact bar in my hood for a few years now. No issues with moisture. Cheap enough to replace if it did.

What did you end up using for brackets? It only comes with one set it looks like, and they're short. They don't come with two sets like nilight light bar does. Just curious what you did for mounting?

I bought a similar bar for the bumper cutout on my 1st gen. I pulled it apart and sealed with regular clear silicone caulk. Just the stuff you'd use in your house. No moisture yet. At the bare minimum I recommend tightening all the small bolts that hold the top and bottom bar in. They are usually a bit loose.

I used the brackets it came with. I positioned them so that the bottom of the "L" faced the outside of the bar so that I could get a tool in there. You can see it in the link below. You'll also want to brace the hood bulge because strong winds will eventually damage it.

I appreciate this link thank you, and the write up! So I think I understand what you were saying about that piece you first cut off, you make a Ip tie circle and then use another zip tie that goes around the bar to secure it? Also did you remove your faux grille that goes in the scoop, or did you leave that in? If left in, does it affect the light alot?

Yes, something like that with the loop.
Faux grill has to come off, no room for it.
