    Hey guys,

Well I've come here through an unfortunate set of circumstances. After years over on TW with my Tacoma, it was stolen from in front of our house a few weeks back (RIP Paco).

That led me down a rabbit hole of looking at a bunch of trucks and ultimately realizing that (thankfully) Taco's and Tundra's share a LOT of the same aftermarket vendors and so I felt like I could move into the Full Size truck world without losing the customizability I loved about having a taco.

You guys were already a lot of help over in the 2.5 gen section, ultimately it helped me do some research and discover the overlaps and get up to speed quickly.

I was also fortunate to take the truck to a mechanic I trust to get it all looked at and ultimately negotiate a bit better deal since it needed some work that was unexpected. But all in all this 2015 Inferno Orange Tundra has landed in the right place, because I'm doing my best to sweat all of the details.

And after not having many pictures of my truck that got stolen I also figure this should serve as a very nice thread of info for both me, others and my insurance company should Tony the Tundra suffer the same fate as Paco.

I'm leaving this as a WIP state for now while I go add pictures and individual posts about each of these as I get time to take the time to take the photos and write it all up

Photos from when I picked him up

Here are some photos showing the original stance with the -12 offset wheels (not for me)

Kings and Camburg UCAs as it came

    Deavers 748 leaf springs

Unfinished BMC on both sides (luckily I own a welding machine!)

Mods when purchased (think I'm done discovering these now)
King 2.5 OEM Performance Series with remote resovoir
    Camburg Billet Kinetik UCAs
    Deaver 748 Leaf Springs
    17" Fuel Covert Wheels (-12 Offset) wrapped in Falken Wildpeak M/T - 35 x 12.5 r17's
JL Audio XD 400/4 Amp Replacement
    Baja Designs Amber Fog Lights
Incomplete Cab Mount Chop (luckily I have a welding machine and can hopefully finish this)

Mods since purchased (Likely will never be finished here)
    ESP Under Seat Storage
Replaced Broken Radiator Cap with TRD Cap
Replaced Fuel Cap (one that came on the truck was not clicking and that was going to bug me)
Complete fluid flush (to get a baseline on all fluids)
New Brakes (Rotors and pads) all the way around
17" Method MR316 Wheels in Titanium (+25 Offset) - same tires for now
    Line-X Spray in Bedliner
    AntennaMastRus Stubby Antenna
USB-C & USB-A cigarette lighter replacement - back seat and front
    Wireless Charger console mod
    Center Console latch replacement
    Husky Floor Liners
Toyota Owners Manual Portfolio since my truck did not come with one
    Locame Adjustable Trailer Hitch
New Bed Cleats (Actually bought these for my Tacoma, but I guess fate?)
Replaced Fender Extension with painted one from paintedoemparts
Replaced Color Matched Bumper extensions with new painted ones from tacovinyl
OEM Front Driver Seat Cushion replacement
Heated Seat Kit with Pentiometer switches
Leather Seats - really excited about this one (Roadwire leather)

Installed the Wireless car charger - works well but the magnets don't hold that well, currently have something on order to edit it a bit to see if I can get my phone to hold better, but here's a pic of it installed in the truck

The antenna turned out to be way easier than I thought, since it was not on there when I bought the truck I was worried the housing was stripped, but low and behold it was not so we went from no antenna, to antenna with a few bucks and less than a minute of my time!

Picked this up from the dealer ahead of installing heated seats and leather - ~$200 but worth it to sit in a new seat every day I would say

Added the ESP Underseat storage over the weekend, thought hard about the aluminum one but settled on plastic because I don't really see a need for the locking mechanism and this is just going to hold straps and my hitch for the most part anyways.

Instructions were pretty simple, lots of good youtube videos out there and if you can get over the fact you're cutting up your carpet its honestly just fine, super happy with how it turned out

I’ve been going back and forth also about the aluminum ones. I don’t think it’s so much the lock I want / need, just a better flat surface because I usually keep my back seats up

Ah yeah that would make a lot of sense then, I don't think I'll have much need to leave mine up ever but if I started to I'd probably switch, luckily they're the same size so would be an easy later swap too!

Got the Amazon VCI cable and got Techstream setup, so I've now successfully wiped the old remotes and keys and have registered the new key I had cut at the dealer and the remote I grabbed on ebay.

Dealer quoted me $220 to program a key and fob, made finding techstream REAL easy

Line-X Bedliner done today - was quoted $600 OTD or an additional $180 for premium

I’ve read enough on the forums that I figured premium was worth it to me for the UV protection and lack of fading long term since I intend to drive this truck til the wheels fall off

really appreciated the attention to detail in removing all the bolts, tie downs etc before they sprayed, makes me feel that much better about the work overall

Got leather installed today, looks and feels like a new truck, for good measure I went ahead and bought a brand new bottom seat cushion from Toyota, felt worth the $200 to have a new seat.

I know everyone here is crazy on Katzkin, this is actually a Roadwire set. The installer highly recommended them and I loved the color, he even offered to add the TRD Pro logo in the same color as the seats which looks really subtle and I think came out awesome.

Also had him wrap the console and all the door panels. Really happy with all the work

Had the heated seats installed too but I still need to wire them up with the switches, so that will have to wait until I get some spare time

That looks great. I’ll look into the Roadwire set. I wanted to do this myself, but this might be one job that I actually decide to pay someone else to do. I would need a good installer in TN, though.

Unfortunately I'm in Socal but leather and installation including the heated seats install was ~$1500 so I honestly feel like it was worth it, I dropped it off at 10AM and it was ready by 4PM today so was super impressed with the speed and quality.

What part of TN are you in btw?

I keep trying to convince my wife to move to/near Nashville

Dang man, that price is awesome.

I’m outside of Nashville. I love all the state parks, hiking trails, backcountry camping, hunting. I don’t love the city—lots of growth, but it has been accompanied by traffic, insane tourism (downtown is basically a small country music version of the Vegas strip), and higher crime.

You’d have to get used to smaller mountains and lakes instead of the ocean. But property taxes are low, there is no state income tax, and I put a tag on every vehicle for $90/yr.

Yeah I would like to be outside of the city for sure, problem is my wife wants Brentwood and I want Lebanon lol ... probably you can tell which of us is from California and which of us is from Louisiana ...

and yep, all those things you're preaching are exactly what I remind her of daily

Did they remove the old covers, or go over them?

I'm mostly asking because I have vinyl seats and looking to replace the covers on the front buckets. I'd prefer original factory fabric covers if I can find some.

It’s called Amber and the TRD PRO stitching is also done in Amber

I was worried to make such a big change but I usually love that color interior, I’m thrilled with the outcome, also smells like a new truck again which is nice :)

Had the new wheels installed today

Method MR316 in the titanium color

I’ll have to wash it tomorrow and snap some better pics, mostly just glad to have gotten rid of the -12 offset and moved to the +25 offset, I don’t know why I had such a visceral reaction to the negative offset but this already “feels” better to me when driving

EDIT: Washed it today and snapped a few better pics

Close up of the wheels and color

Perhaps the most important (to me) part - the new stance without all that negative offset

    As a reminder
