Puddle lights under mirrors don’t turn on

    SOLVED!

    my truck is still under warranty so I have no issue bringing it in, just wondering if there is a switch somewhere controlling them.

    I bought replacement LEDs and they aren’t working either; seems strange...

    That’s what I would think also, done lights all work and the switch is working with the doors...

    Didn’t realize the LEDs were polarity specific, I’ll try popping another one in and try hooking it up both ways. Thanks!

    The menu is so basic in these, LoL, I wish it was that advanced!

    How are you trying to turn them on? The only way that I know of to turn them on, is to click the unlock button on the remote.

    I’m using an aftermarket alarm... I wonder... I’m going to try the factory remote and see what happens.

    Dude... so now all of a sudden they’re working... so either...
    A. They have a sensor and only turn on at night and I’ve only been working on them during the day (it’s dusk now)
    B. I’m a shmuck and wasn’t trying to turn them on with the disarm
    C. I needed another beer

    Either way, thanks for the simplest answer possible! No dealer for me, now let’s see if I can get the LEDs to work without cooking the ECU like the previous post linked to.
