Well after waiting well over a month and a half for Bilstein 6112's and 5160's for the rear. I had the rears but returned them I decided to go with he the Fox Trd Pro set up from Sparks parts. I have new Method 701's with 285/70 17's mounted ready to go. Think I am also gonna pull the trigger on a TRD Skid plate as well. Looking forward to getting them installed! Wanted to keep my extended warranty valid and hopefully the fox's do that. Decided against the 8112's due to having to do the UCA's. Anyone else currently have this Fox Trd Pro set up?

Many aftermarket suspension kits recommend UCAs and wheels with a less-tucked offset to comfortably clear them. My Pro kit wasn’t cheap, but at least I didn’t have to add wheels or UCAs to make it work. 100% OEM setup. And it has a lot more travel than the TRD Off Road shocks that originally came on my truck. Very happy with it myself.

I never intended to turn my truck into a Faux Pro, but I always planned on getting the suspension, and I happened to find a decent deal on the wheels. Here she is with the Pro kit, Pro BBS wheels, and 285/75s.

I also went this route and ordered my TRDPro Fox suspension from Sparks and I also have the TRD Skid on my mine.

Happy with both purchases, but haven't had a chance to really put the suspension through any real tests off road. I will say I noticed the added weight when cornering from the skid plate.

    Nice wheels!

Thanks, I thought the TRD Skid plate was aluminum and supposed to be lighter than the factory stamped steel?

Just had my 21 steering rack replaced due to the Recall. The dealer installed my TRD front sway bar and TRD skid plate for no cost.

I think the stock one which was pretty small in comparison to the TRD one is like 9lbs and the TRD Skid plate is like 30 lbs as it's quite a bit larger and provides far more protection that the stock one. I could be wrong and I am sure others on here will correct me if I am.

UH Yeah, I have the EXACT same setup.
Bought the TRD Pro's and the Skid Plate off a guy who junked it for a bigger lift.
Then found some RW's and bought 285/70/17's .

    Rides great, love the look.
In the pics the rear is high due to my airbags being inflated. But it was still an inch higher in the back with the TRD Pro setup by my measurements .
Now looking at maybe doing the westcott Pro lift and sliders for the future....We'll see. I really don't like my running boards appearance but damn if I don't use them everyday.

I am picking up a set off PandaPro on here, considering doing a +2 shackle on the rear when I install the TRD Pro kit and .5 shims on the front to give an extra kit. Will I need a front diff drop kit?

I have a 3” spacer on the front that dealer installed when I bought the truck and they didn’t install a diff drop kit, from what I see. Not sure if it’d be recommended or not with the shims. You may still be fine without.

From what I've read on this forum, it's a split between those who say you need a diff drop and those saying it doesn't do much. I think with shims on a TRD lift though you're getting close to the limit of needing the UCA at 3".
