Hello All! Looking for some advice here. I recently bought the AlphaRex Jet Black Pro series Headlights for my 2021 SR5, but I feel that the DRL's at least to me doesn't seem as bright as I thought compared to pictures advertised. So now I've got some buyers remorse. When "Out in the Wild" I see higher trim Tundra's with the OEM LEDs and they seem super bright which is what I like, but for the price of AlphaRex and the ability to change out the low beam bulb (which i learned about the highbeam chip only after purchase) and their reputation and they price matched me on some other ones, it was just a no brainer. Which the OEM ones I found were up to $800 and already found out if one or both of them goes bad and have to replace the whole headlight then Toyota would not replace for warranty as it doesn't match my trim according to my nearby dealer. So I opted for AlphaRex. which I felt was a great deal and they look amazing on the truck, just the harness is the shitty part. So I had my wife jump in and drive toward me and it seemed that you could barely tell the DRLs are on in daylight compared to when I see other Tundra's with OEM LEDs on the road. I then called AlphaRex and sent them the picture's that I have here and they said this is normal operation. so I am looking to see what everyone else thoughts on it as well.

So after all of that I am just trying get some advice or if maybe I am just overthinking it and being to picky. unfortunately its hard to find a decent picture to compare OEM LEDs because usually they are doctored up in some way. so if you have those feel free to send them in the reply or have alpharex headlights too to compare. Thanks for reading my novel and I look forward to your responses.

Also, please dont be a dick and go "sHoUlD hAvE gOnE wItH oEm tO bEgIn wItH".

    just regular DRL operation:

OEM LED in bright daylight and overcast. Yours do look a little dim from the pictures in your garage.

Maybe a bit less bright than OEM but they still look good imo. Having white paint doesn’t help them stand out at all either.
