I swapped out my regular mirrors for OEM power folding tow mirrors a while back. I understood that I would lose my puddle lights and auto-memory feature, fine.

My question to all that have done this swap is...now when I use the auto memory feature (when wife drives) it moves the driver seat to her preset position but the power folding tow mirrors go crazy and move in and down (just the mirror part, they don’t fold in unnecessarily), making you have to do adjust both mirrors for minutes before you can drive away, which is beyond annoying.

Anybody else experience this? Im guessing I can pull a wire which may disable this? any thoughts on this situation are appreciated...

I did run a wire to power the amber drl driving light in the tow mirror (which the platinum lacks)...maybe my problem...?
