Question for you folk who have done a cat shield. Are the shield like Talons Garage, Miller and Taco Tuned sufficient to protect all four cats? Seems like the Gen 3 has the upper two tucked in pretty high but are they accessible or do they require additional plates? Picking up my truck tomorrow otherwise I'd look myself. Thanks.

If they can be touched, cover them.

I'm too broke after buying this rig to afford mods.
Here's the Miller Cat Shield for the hybrid in place:

It's pretty decent coverage, and the countersunk bolts will probably make it a nuisance to bypass.

    I'm happy with mine.

Yes, the one shield is enough to protect all four on the 3rd gen tundras.

I agree... the Talon shield did the job for mine.

Thieves want outta there in 60 seconds. Put any shield on and they’ll hit the next one with no protection. (Unless the truck is in a secluded area where they have lots of time to cut/remove shields)

You're absolutely right. We've got dogs that would go nuts if they heard anything outside. Just bought the Talons Garage plate.

Another vote for the Talons! Fair price, quick shipping, perfect fit, and solid protection.
