Looking for a recommendation. OEM stock suspension 275/65R18 Tires.

I do mostly freeway driving. I like a tire that has good hydroplane resistance. I go camping quite a bit and do occasional towing 2-3 times a year. I like to have an aggressive looking tire for aesthetics. Any suggestions? I like to have a quiet tire if possible.

I've been running these in a 275/60/20 for over a year.
    Been very happy with them..
It's an exclusive Discount Tire offering.

Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain AT | Discount Tire

    Semi-aggressive tread and nice sidewall.
Much quieter than my OEM KOs were or the KO2s I replaced them with.
They are wearing a lot better as well..

I have Cooper Rugged trek tires, which are not necessarily the best for highway, but are definitely quiet considering the rating. However they do have other All-Terrain (AT) and light truck (LT) tires that are well rated like the Discoverer AT3 that are nice tires.

Michelin Defenders. They’re not very aggressive looking (I know that was one of your criteria) but they are probably the best highway tire you can get for quiet, smoothness, longevity and wet/dry traction.

I think the stock Michelin LTX AT is the best mostly road some offroad tire. They're quiet, last forever (63K on my stock set so far), and have good rain traction. I like the goodyear AT's also as someone else mentioned. I'm on my 4th set of those on my other truck. They are a little noisier than the Michelins but they're also more aggressive.

That is impressive mileage! This is my third set. The first two on my 2015 only got me about 40k each and these look to be on the same track.
I love the tires. They are light, ride great, have decent traction in every situation that I need, they drive great and they are quiet.

The stock LTX AT2 tires have crap traction in the rain. Even with a muted throttle response they break loose unless I'm in 4Hi. There are better tires for rain. I do not recommend these as they get worse as you wear them; sipes disappear and do not go the full tread depth.

I like these tires too but my curiosity always gets me trying new tires. My second set were the Michelin primacy and I hate them.

If I remember correctly, the at2 from Michelin sucked when the got down to the last 10k miles

I’ve got Firestone at2’s and they are very quiet on the highway. Haven’t had a chance to do much rain driving with them though.

For your needs, I highly suggest Cooper AT3 XLT’s.

Smoothest riding / driving, quietest, longest lasting tire I’ve ever ran that also looks fantastic.

I have 60K miles on mine, and can get another 5-10K out of them before I’d begin worry about hydroplane issues.

Here is a thread that has a pretty comprehensive report of folks experiences.

I respect your desire for aggressive looking tires but I have to second the Michelin Defender LTX OP. They will be far superior in the rain and on the street to any AT tire from any brand including Michelin (I have been very impressed with the AT2-no where near as bad as people make them out to be) especially once you get over 20k.

The "Standard Load" tires that came on the truck. I think that they are basically load range D.

I really like the A/T 2. The LTX M/S are even better highway and all around tires, but they really are old man tires :)

Much agreed! But once I am driving around I always think to myself “dang, these tires really ride nice”.

Steadfast and confident… Kinda like Clint Eastwood…if he were a tire LOL.
