Rain guard adhesive

Looking for a little help. I have weather tech in channel rain guards. The adhesive that came on them was very weak and has worn off. Now when I have my windows down and I hit a bump bing bang boom crunch they rattle around in the channel. Looking for a suggestion on what 3m tape to use for em.

 

Thank you sir! I was unsure if I used double sided stickiness for the in channel type that I wouldent be able to get them out if they break or something. Needed some reassurance . Your the man!

 

Got it. I could have swore mine had the same strip as the rear. A very thin line of some kind but I could be way off. Just going to have to embrace the rattle. Thank you again.

 

Hahaha I just did a back flip from the seated position. I need the help so I am game. Maybe throw an inch strip up front and an inch in the middle and an inch in the rear to hold it. I'll try it on one side and if I muck things up I won't do the other side. I will keep the window rolled up for 24 hrs to make sure it seats correctly. I'm thinking get the thinnest double sided tape I can find? I set needed someone to bounce ideas off.

Tape worked mint. No flap no rattle and they stay put instead of floating around in the channel. Solid work sir!.

 

I have 3m double sided on mine. also had the same tape on my 2015.. never a problem, easy to install.. I already typed all that before I saw that your problem was solved, so I refuse to delete what I have just typed. Congrats! lol

 

Love the dedication! All good man I have done that several time so I'm with you. I know from here on out to slap some on right away and avoid the nonsense.
