Finally got the Ranch Hand front bumper, 2.5in level (including 1 CB shim on the drivers side), Better fog lights, then the Larger Toyota front and rear sway bar installed.

It does seem Ranch Hand has done some updates to the bumpers for the tundra compared to earlier models, the front mesh on my bumper had the middle mesh already removed so the front sensor will continue to work without needing to remove any mesh.

Speaking about the mesh, it isn't "mesh" anymore its a cut sheet of metal to look like mesh welded onto the bumper, looks solid, we'll see how the coating on the bumper lasts over time, good oil coats might be my best friend here.

Interestingly enough the 2.5in level/shim paired with the weight of the front bumper landed me with a 2in lift and only 0.05 out of spec for the alignment.

I love the way it sits and drives as it is, the end plan is 37's 5.29, super charger, steel breaded brake lines, rock sliders, skid and trans plates, gas tank/tool box for the bed, bed stiffeners, ABS senor covers. and likely only a 3/1 or close to that lift. New wheels +25 (or so) offset and maybe the BMC/ new upper control arms but all in good time, slowly.

Yes, I will be replacing the spacers likely with 6112's but I can't bring myself to toss the perfectly good factory coils and for $100-ish can't beat the spacers.

You only have front lift not rear? How does it ride?

Nice choice! Like my Ranchhand bumpers, very good stuff! Spacers are not great because you are adding length to the coil/shock assembly which means when fully extended they are longer than the rest of the system is designed for which can literally pull apart the upper ball joints. Don't think you want that! Then, when fully compressed, the shock can hit bottom before the control arm bump stops hit the frame resulting in a destroyed shock. All the components must work together as a whole system for the best results. My advice, look into some adjustable coilovers with some heavy duty coils for your bumper and forget shims.

The difference is night and day, even with the weight addition.

Thanks and yes I know, but realistically I don't experience full drop much if ever, and have extended bump stops for full compression. I will be going with likely 6112's once these shocks are worn out, the trucks still kinda brand new so I couldn't bring my self to take out the perfectly good shocks. the spacers were cheap enough to try, but for sure not the best.

    Hi Jimmy,

Can you take some pics of your fog lights? What did you do to have them flushed? I got the truck with the ranch hand and I just noticed that the fog lights are sitting almost an inch behind. see pictures.

I put the auxbeam fog lights in, the brackets they come with are adjustable so I lined them up to be flush, I didn’t even try the factory fog lights so I’m not sure if they can be made to install flush.

Do you mind to take a few photos of the brackets and fog lights? Wanted to see if I can make my own brackets. Thank you,
