Raptor Lights???

Anyone added raptor style lights to the front of their tundra?? Pics/details/ordering/installation please!

Probably. I often do searches for the OPs, but searching here is SO helpful, it's always good to remind. Plethora of information available on this site!

 

Mine are yotaleds. They were pretty pricey for what they are. I recently purchased a different set of raptor style LEDs on Amazon for my FJ and the quality was just as good for about 1/4 the price of the yotaleds. The good thing about the yotaleds are the metal backplates that blend in with the grill.

+1 yota led ....just cant figure out the fuse situation to wear the lights only come on with drl mine are always on

 

I don’t have the raptor lights. But, I wired my hood bulge light into my daytime driving light. When I start the truck up, they come on. When I turn the headlights on, bulge light goes off. The daytime light has 3 wires. I spliced into the red one. If you look down at the plug, it’s the 1st on the right.

 

I tried the fuse way and couldn’t get it right. That’s why I spliced into the drl wire.

 

What size AWG wire is in the harness?

Also, is 22AWG too small for a harness like this one?

The only thing that’s pricey is the bracket that the LED sit in. Aside from that, if you don’t want the brackets, then it’s a lot cheaper.
