Has anyone used the Raxiom Speedform throttle controller? If so, thoughts, comments, concerns? Told myself I wasn’t going to mod this truck idk why I lied to myself and down the rabbit hole I go. Thinking bout jb4 or vf but want to get rid of the dead pedal feel first.

Personally, I feel weird going with the cheap throttle controllers especially with the number of folks that have had issues with the devices in general (not speaking to Raxiom specifically).

HikeIt and iDrive (EVC, Ultimate9, all same company) are a little more but both have a good reputation with folks on the forum using them. The "better" way to do this is via Banks since theirs has the additional safety feature.

I think the throttle control is the easy way to make the truck more enjoyable until you can get a tune.

I’ve seen those other ones floating around too (iDrive)

You recommend those? How do they differ?

is the banks one a tuner as well or just throttle controller? I’m going to check it out as well.

what problems specifically are people having? Most of he reviews I’ve seen so far said good things for the most part? Thanks for the info, hopefully save me some headache. I love forums, lol…

All 4 of those are same company?

I am seeing 3 diff models of the HikeIt, which one would you recommend. Even the basic seems like it’ll do everything I need. Looking for simplistic as possible.

    HikeIt is one company
iDrive became EVC but I think their controller is called Ultimate9. This is the one I have

I have not had issues with mine or seen anyone with the HikeIt post about problems. Some of the others have put people in limp mode in the middle of driving plus plenty of other problems. Normally just just disconnect the throttle controller and the truck goes to normal but some folks had worse problems that didn't go away.

I don't believe the Banks throttle controller is a tuner. I don't know as much about that one but folks like it a lot.

I don't have a HikeIt so won't speak to which model will work for you. A lot will depend on your driving habits as to what you want.

A buddy who had one loved being in sport 2 or 3 (sport is general term, each brand calls it something, but not eco) and liked that but he would switch to eco 5 for school drop off as he was just crawling thru the pick up line. You can make them sensitive enough you break the tires free from them spinning or you can barely make it noticeable. Just about all have a scale for sensitivity so you can find what you like and adjust as you need.
