I've got a 2022 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 4x4 TRD. The 10,000 mile maintenance calls out re-torquing propeller shaft bolts for vehicles operating on roads where road salt has been applied. Dealership claims it is unnecessary? Anyone know where to find the specifications?

I've had a few vehicles that ask for this. So far the consensus I've heard is that it is indeed unnecessary to do as often as suggested. It's more about "do you care enough to pay for the labor hours" than anything.

Looking at the process it's more work to lift the vehicle to access them, even moreso if you have cat shields that prevent easy access, than it is to actually just put a torque wrench on the things and check em.

I had the same question about my 2020. Just didn't ask. Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)!
