I know a few years ago there used to be a lot more support for after market bumpers for our trucks--even with the resurgence of interest in 1st Gen Tundra's I'm not seeing a lot of aftermarket option available. I searched the forum and found links to aftermarket bumpers, but many manufacturers have stopped making a practical rear bumper. I don't want an off road tube style (like Coastal). Something with D ring shackle mounts would be preferable. Will a current gen Tacoma bumper fit?

The Coastal Off Road bumper is more like a plated bumper, not tube style. What style or features are you looking for exactly? If it's just a place to add a D-ring shackle you could just use a Factor 55 Hitchlink or any other hitch mounted D-ring shackle adapter.

There's a thread on here somewhere showing just about every aftermarket bumper there is.
Here's a couple after market off road bumpers that might help ya. I have a rear bumper from MOVE and front from IronBull.
Both are worth the money. Even though both use same thickness metal plate, I feel IronBull is a better bumper

IronBull. Everything is already done, just bolt it to the frame.

I have seen a MOVE - I looked at them a lot online and then saw one. I think they look like great bumpers. A little fat for my taste.

EDIT: I should mention I was focused on the front bumpers.

Was picking up the finished bumper and getting ready to go have it Bullet sprayed. That Bullet liner spray has a unique good appearance to it and is tough stuff. IronBull sprays all their bumpers with it.
