Rear License PLate Not Sitting Flush

Anyone else have this problem? For the life of me I cannot figure out why my rear license plate sticks out at the bottom. Any ideas? Am I missing a part?

 

Did you try loosening the screws a hair?

You can put a bend in it for free.....

 

Bend it? Put a bolt on the bottom? Who cares?

 

Just going to allow the crickets to chirp on this one.

what is most surprising is that after all the ridiculous shit I have read on this forum that go on and on for pages, this particular one was the one that crossed the line for you, HAHHAHA.

 

In all seriousness, if you use a license plate frame, there is retention tabs on the bottom that will keep it flat to the bumper.

 

More like cumulative effect. Think of it as the straw that broke the camel's back

 

Maybe I should cut some decals backwards

 

You may need to file an insurance claim for hurricane damage

 

Make them crooked too

In response to OP - mines like that too. Mostly because after I haul things (dirt, gravel, wood chips, mulch, etc), shit gets down behind there and pushes it out a little bit.

I’ve learned to not worry about it

I don't think you guys are understanding the gravity of the situation. What if his bumper was crooked?

 

I'm literally laughing my ass off at the responses. I guess that's what I deserve. LOL. I've tried the plate frame, same result. I guess if this is the only thing I have to worry about on the truck then that's a pretty good thing. But for me and my OCD this stupid little detail drives me nuts.

 

If it bothers you that much pull the plate, take a Dremel, and hone out a little trench in the plastic.

 

2 options come to mind immediately.



1. Pills for your OCD



2. 3M tape for the back of your license plate

 

I had the same problem. Backing into the boat trailer 4~5 times tweaked that twisted plate right now!
