I am replacing the rear shock bushings. The Toyota website shows "off road" and "non off road " versions available. I do not really do any off roading so should I assume that I should get the "non off road" versions? Thanks.

Think it’s referring to which suspension package came on your truck. TRD Off-Road is like a Z71 package for Toyotas. Different shocks and some stickers. If your rock warrior came with the off road package (I would think it would?) then you would order the off road version. If your on factory shocks and the bushing is wore out, maybe the shock is wore out too…….

I am replacing the shocks and I could see the old bushings had some hairline cracks. I am replacing them because of that. I was asking since I would prefer a smooth ride as opposed to off roading capabilities.

I got ya, but the bushings go with the shocks I believe. Not a preference thing. New shocks should come with new bushings.

My Bilsteins did not come with new bushings. I had to buy them separately, but I don't recall any difference between TRD and non TRD for bushings. I bought Gabriel bushing, part # 143340.

My 5100’s came with new upper and lower bushings. Fronts and rears.

I used Bilstein 4600 series shocks and struts. The 4600 rear shocks did not come with new upper bushings.
