    Hi,

I'm in the process of installing the speaker kit I purchased from tech12volt.

I took off the rear door panel (driver side) and removed the tweeter. The wires are dark blue and light blue (teal coloration). Can someone help me understand which wire is positive and which is negative? The wires for the aftermarket tweeter are red and black. My plan is to connect using a posi-tap.

    Thanks

If I recall correctly, for the REAR tweeter you wanna leave that plugged in, and just break that plug off the OEM tweeter. And then wire the tweeter red and black to the mid woofer red and black wires. maybe I'm wrong but I know I wired the front differently from the rear tweeters on my factory JBL system

So which wire was it? Year of your truck? JBL or no? This might help someone else later on down the road.
