I was installing my new stereo, bumped the rear view mirror, and the whole mirror and the mount fell off. The mount ripped some glass with it, and I’ve tried twice now to glue it back with the proper adhesive, but there are chunks of glass left on the mount and chunks of glass missing on the windshield, it refuses to stick.

My plan is to mount a new mount just to the side and live with this until I need a new windshield.

I can’t find this part. Anyone have an idea on the name of the part I need, or part number??

    Thanks in advance!

im just going to tell ya the easier fix here. Go find a used mirror that uses a set screw to install.. those clip on style ones are a pain to remove and can cause you to break the windsheild... mirrors are cheap!. as for the mount piece. i believe a glass shop can locate one.. possibly a napa

Go to a glass shop. I tried reattaching one 3 times a few years ago and it kept falling off. $15 at the glass shop and it was still attached 3 years later when I sold it.
