So my 2018 had new bilsteins all around put on. Added some iron man UCA since I didn’t want to be doing maintenance often. I am currently on stock offroad rims with 285/75 duratracs. Alignment looked good and drives great. Full lock the tire is rubbing the front part of the UCA. I thought it was frame but it doesn’t look safe. Any other 3” lifts encounter this? Will the 1.25” spacers be enough to clear them?

Im no expert but i think the issue is your stock wheels. I have a 3 inch lift with no issues but my wheels are a +18 offset

    3″ Lift Kit
With a 3″ lift kit, the options continue to get better. However, the wider the tire, the greater the likelihood of trimming.
    Max tire sizes are:
    • 18″ rims: 285/75 R18 – 4/10ths wider and 2.8″ taller than factory.
    • 18″ rims: 305/70 R18 – 1.2 inches wider and 2.8″ taller than factory. There are Tundra owners running this size, but trimming is required. Replacing the stock wheels with after-market 18′s that have less backspacing is recommended.
    • 20″ rims: 285/65 R20 – 4/10ths wider, 1.6″ taller than factory.
    • 20″ rims: 305/60 R20 – 1.2 inches wider and 2.4″ taller than factory. There are Tundra owners running this size, but trimming is required (it’s a tight fit).

Will the 1.25” wheel spacers be enough?

To clear UCAs, yes. But it will probably cause some rubbing elsewhere. May even need a CMC

thanks. I think it would do less harm to the truck if it rubs the frame vs UCA n that’s my biggest concern. Only local shop with spacers available are the KSP brand but I was hesitant to run something so cheap so I ordered some spider trax. Just have to not full lock until I get the spacers on.

anyone have experience with KSP? This local shop is a very reputable tire company that’s been around for over 25 years and only carry’s this brand so I’m think they trust it if they sell to customers under their company name.

Are you dead set on staying on stock wheels? I cant speak on the spacers as i have never ran them but why not just get new wheels with the proper offset. They will probably look nicer too.

probably in a few years. Here in Hawaii safety checks are so strict, I just would hate to swap them out for the yearly check if they end up passing the fenders.

what offset would u guys recommend to search for when keeping them close to fender line?

Well here are some pics of mine. Its pretty close. These are 18 in wheels with +18 offset and the tires are 35x12.5 (it doesn't sound like you have wide tires like i do)Dont know if thats still to much for where you live.

nice.. I’ll probably stick to the size I’m running now and eventually change the rims. My gas already sucks since I only drive in town. Hopefully these spacers help me enough. Good to know there’s aftermarket rims with slight positive offsets available.

    Too many, but not enough....
you could go rock warrior wheels if you want to stay oem. They are 17s with a +50 offset i think instead of the standard +60. That 10 mm is almost half an inch it would probably be enough.

I'm running stock wheels with 1.25" spacers on 295's so 1.25" should be enough for your 285's.

Update, ordered 2 sets from Amazon and since they filled from different locations I received 1 set. Slapped them on and thank god it was enough to stop the touching. A plus was it makes the truck look a bit meaner!! Goal accomplished. I love the 285/75 size, a bit taller and not super wide. Truck feels a bit more stabled too with such little width change.
