I had previously subscribed to Remote Connect services for my truck through the Toyota app. It expired earlier this month and normally I can renew the service on the app through the subscriptions portal. I tried to renew a few weeks ago after my monthly subscription expired and now the Remote Connect service is missing and the only options available to me are the trial services Wi-Fi Connect and Service Connect that I've never activated. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know the fix? I waited a few weeks to see if it was a glitch and the app needed to be updated but it's still not working. Half debating on whether I should hit the SOS button for help.

If all else fails you can call them at 1-800-331-4331 and follow the prompts. They are always ready to take your money :)

I called Toyota today and they instructed me that there was no longer any option to get just the remote connect for $8 a month. You have to opt for one of the bundled services which are useless for me. So I guess I will continue on without the remote connect capability. Perhaps if enough people opt out they will bring back the solo option.

@scooterx is yours a Gen 3? I heard that being an issue for Gen 3 users. Mine is a 2.5 Gen, Toyota Brand Engagement responded to my inquiry and determined I needed to have my remote reservices activated by using the SOS button. I found that weird since it had been activated upon delivery in 01/2021 all the way through 09/2023. I haven't reactivated the services yet, as I dont typically use it until it gets cold enough to need to preheat the truck. probably will try soon and will post if it isn't successful.

@roughfisher yes mine is a 3rd Gen 2022 Limited. Let me know if you are able to get anywhere with the SOS button.

Mine vanished too, I only have options for the trial of both those other services that I don’t want. I have an aftermarket remote starter that is kind of finicky and I hate having a separate FOB.

Was hoping to just use the app, but doesn’t look like it’s an option without signing up for more services.

    Thread update:

finally called Toyota on the SOS button to "activate" my Remote Services. not sure what the cause was for losing the service to begin with but I basically had to walk through the agreements and terms of service again with the operator to let Big Brother monitor my truck and was good to go. still had the option of monthly or annual plan for the Remote Services and didn't have to pay for any bundle. I believe the bundle is solely a Gen 3 thing.

Edited to add: There is no voice menu prompt to activate the service on SOS, just say "speak to an operator" and it will dial you into an operator that can assist you.
