    Hey guys,
When I purchased my 2018 the hood had a clear protective film, similar to/or vinyl. Well long story short it’s peeling due to something. I want to remove the protective coat but worried about harming the paint. What would be your recommendations on removing the film without harming the paint/clear coat. What adhesive removers are the best for the job? Thanks in advance.

Warm it up with a hair dryer or heat gun as you lift. First adhesive remover I would try is wd 40. You don't want anything harsh.

Look on AmmoNYC on YouTube. He does a whole video on film removal using boiling water.

Put it outside in the sun and peal it off when its warmed up.
When your finished rubbing alcohol & or WD-40 will take the glue right off for you.

If the finish is Toyota factory it wont hurt anything and come right off for you.

I’m just not sure whatever cause it if it hurt the paint underneath? Guess it really doesn’t matter it has to come off regardless.
