Removing roof antenna?

soo whats the easiest way to remove the shark fin roof antenna? truck wont fit in the garage unless i remove it. if anybody is asking.

 

Pull into the garage.

 

I know one guy tried shaving his down a bit and ran into all kinds of connections high up in the fin. So I guess a full removal would be necessary.

 

Are you trying to remove it completely or replace it with a flat antenna?

 

yea i rather just remove it completly right now.

 

I don't think this has been worked out yet. I know on the taco forums they were working the issue. The biggest problem from what I remember is that Toyota put more in the fin, so its now XM and GPS. Shaving no longer works.
