Hey guys just checking if there is a way to actuate the air dam to remove the skid plate. I changed my oil recently and messed with it for awhile. I feel if you pull down too hard its just going to break. I then just used a wrench to access the bolts and turn them a 1/4 at a time and had to fight with the air dam the whole time. I got the job done, it was just annoying. Just curious if theres a trick. I assume the dealer just hooks up their scan tool and actuates it to get out of the way. Please let me know if Im missing something simple.

Yes, there is an easy way to drop the "Active Front Spoiler" down on page 403 of the Owners Manual:

Awesome, thanks. I kept looking in the maintenance section of the manual.

There is also a small QR code on the middle of it that takes you to the Toyota video. I went through the same thing last week.
