My wife drive my truck while I was out of town and backed up, ever so slightly, into a flatbed truck.

I have Attitude Black paint (color code 218). Are the blue flakes in the pai t or the clear? A friend said he thinks it will be hard to match and blend a repair, due to the flakes.

    Does anyone know?

I got t-boned in my last truck, which was attitude black. They repainted the two passenger side doors and were able to match it perfectly. If you get it to a good shop, you’ll be fine.

The blue flecks are in the paint, clear is just that, clear. As said a good painter can match.
    Good luck

I am pretty certain they will just do any need metal bumping and then sand the whole side of the bed down and respray. It’s not cheap but you’ll never know anything happened.

    Sorry you’re going through this!
